Hi, I'm Andre.
I build websites for local businesses that are good at what they do but are losing customers to a search result. I design, write and build every Loomwest site by hand and stay the point of contact afterward. Before a site goes live, I measure it on a phone and check it against a nineteen-point launch checklist.

With WCAG, checked with axe
What it is
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are an international standard, and the WCAG documents explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
WCAG 2 is developed through the W3C process with individuals and organizations around the world, with the goal of one shared standard for web content accessibility.
WCAG 2.2 was published on 5 October 2023, and an update followed on 12 December 2024.
How Loomwest uses it
Every page and every Report Card goes through an automated axe check against WCAG A and AA before it deploys, and a serious or critical finding blocks the launch.
